About Attorney Wade P. Jackman

Wade P. Jackman was born in Detroit, Michigan, and grew up in Livonia, Michigan. He attended college at Michigan State University in East Lansing and law school at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. He currently resides in Oakland County, Michigan, where the law firm of Jackman & Kasody PLLC, is located. Wade has specialized in divorce and family law for the past 35-plus years and has practiced extensively in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties as well as Washtenaw and Livingston.

Wade currently serves on the board of directors of the Michigan Inter-Professional Association on Marriage, Divorce and the Family, which is composed of many prominent judges, lawyers and mental health professionals. He has served on the board for more than 15 years.

Wade’s approach is to try to resolve divorce and family law cases in an amicable manner to save the parties both time and money; however, he has extensive trial experience in all of the metropolitan Detroit-area counties when negotiation fails. Concerning Attorney Patricia A. Kasody-Coyle

Patricia A. Kasody-Coyle is celebrating more than 25 years of service as a divorce and family law attorney practicing in Oakland, Wayne, Macomb, Washtenaw and Livingston counties. She graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.A. in 1989. She attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School and graduated with a Juris Doctor in 1992. She was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1994.

Attorney Kasody-Coyle also possesses an LL.M. in Taxation from Wayne State University, which allows her to offer our clients knowledgeable advice about the financial aspects of divorce.

As a service to our community, she offers free legal advice at a no-cost seminar on the second Tuesday of each month at the Women’s Resource Center at Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Michigan. She enjoys this opportunity to share accurate, up-to-date information with individuals who are contemplating, or in the process of, divorce or have other family law issues.

Attorney Kasody-Coyle is a member of the Michigan Inter-Professional Association on Marriage, Divorce and the Family, of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and of the Oakland County Bar Association. She is also BV Distinguished peer review-rated* through Martindale-Hubbell.
